Studied painting with B.L. Gershoig, and became a professional painter

He studied painting and graphic art in the studio of artist B.L. Gershoig. The basic approach to drawing in Gershoig's school was the Chistiakov method, and something from Ashbe and Holloshi schools. The approach to painting stemmed from Delacroix, his infinite variations of ``complex grays''.
  
D.K. works in various genres, such as portrait, landscape, still-life and urban still-life, theme painting. His techniques include oil, tempera and acrylic colours, water-colour, pastel, etching, crayon.
